How to Measure for Clothing and Collars

Please understand that we offer merchandise manufactured by many different designers and sizes will vary from designer to designer. We suggest that you measure your pet carefully and buy our clothing and collars according to your dog's measurements rather than size. There is a size chart for each garment on the item pages.

How to Measure for Clothing and Collars

Body Length:
A. Measure length of pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Also if dog has a stout build, a deep chest, or is overweight, we recommend going up a minimum of one size for proper fit. If dog is long-backed, like a Dachshund, a smaller size is recommended.
B. For shorter style garments, measure the length of the pet's back from base of neck to base of tail. (Due to the unique styling of midriff garments, they may sit higher on the dog's back)

Neck:
C.
Measure the circumference of pet's neck. Allow some leeway for a comfortable fit. For collar widths; 1/2"-5/8" widths are best for puppies and small dogs. 5/8"-3/4" widths are best for small to medium dogs. 1"+ widths are best for large dogs.

Chest:
D.
Measure girth around the broadest part of the chest, which is typically right behind the front legs.

How to Measure for Shoes

While dog is standing, place paw on a piece of paper, draw a circle around their paw, and then measure the length and width of the circle you just drew.
